Donor Levels

Rosalila: Rosalila level donors make donations under $1000 and receive the Copan Association bi-annual newsletters to keep updated on events and projects in Copan. Rosalila level friends also get invitations to annual discussions about excavations and artifacts with archaeologists and other experts, and receive discounts on Copan’s hotels, Internet cafes and restaurants.

Bacab (Maya for “noble”): Bacab donors make gifts of $1000 or more and receive all the benefits of Rosalila level plus invitations to bi-annual personalized discussions on current issues in archaeology, bi-annual “behind the scenes” tours of Copan, and invitations to quarterly private tours of Copan’s museums. Bacabs can also host Maya scholars for specialized talks.

K’inich (Resplendent): K’inich level donors receive all the benefits of Rosalila and Bacab levels. The K’inich level donors offer significant support to Copan-related projects with a gift of over $10,000. K’inich donors are invited to all CMF board meetings and are invited to all CMF and Copan Association events. Their gift is recognized with a carved stone dedication in Copan near the project they make possible.
