Many Ways to Care

Honduras is one of the poorest and least developed countries in Latin America, but it possesses Copan, one of the most significant and beautiful Maya sites in the world. The Copan Maya Foundation offers many ways to make a real difference at the Copan site and make a positive impact on the lives of the people in Copan.

Contributors receive the Copan Association’s bi-annual newsletter to keep updated on events and projects in Copan and to chart the foundation’s progress. You will also get invitations to private discussions about excavations and artifacts with archaeologists and other experts, and even host events with Maya scholars.

By making a contribution, you actively participate in this exciting field of discovery and help preserve a valuable part of Middle American history. Our board of directors, advisors and local staff provide expertise and efficiecy for each and every project.

All contributions are tax-deductible and each contributor will be recognized on our website.

Gifts: Gifts can take the form of cash, stock, material or expertise. You can make a general gift to fund all projects, or you can direct your gift to support a specific project. You can also contribute to Copan Maya Foundation’s endowment. The foundation welcomes the gift of stock or discussions of planned giving.
