Visit Modern Copan

Beginning January 2010, The Copan Association along with FACES/UNAH will sponser free conferences in Copan Ruinas, Honduras.  These conferences are presented in Spanish at the Hotel Marina located on the Central Square in Copan Ruinas and will begin at 7:00 p.m.  The next conference will be held Saturday, March 20 "Equinoccio de Primavera" presented by Vito Veliz & Marina Cristina Pineda de Carias.  Please check the Copan Association Website for future conferences. 

The village of Copan Ruinas offers a perfect vantage point from which to enjoy your time in this area. Copan Ruinas is located just twelve kilometers from Guatemala and is a convenient staging area to visit surrounding Central American countries.
