By Road: The last 6 kilometers into Copan Ruinas from San Pedro Sula are slow.  The road has been washed out, although not completely in four places.  There is earth moving machinery re-opening the areas.  Expect your trip to take a little longer than usual, although drivers are very experienced in this type of travel.  The Valley is spectacular; green and lush, the weather is cool and clear at present (November, 2008) and should remain this way for the month of November.

Flights: The following Airlines serve Honduras:

Spirit Air,
Continental Airlines,
American Airlines,
Taca Airlines,
Delta Airlines.

Bus Service:  Several companies offer bus service from San Pedro Sula, Guatemala City, Tegucigalpa and La Ceiba.  Bus lines operating between San Pedro Sula and Copan include Hedman-Alas, Cassasola,  Hedman Alas also offers direct bus service from Antigua and Guatemala City, Guatemala.
